Speech and Language Therapist Job Description

Beautiful Autism, LLC is seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with clients and families to provide support for communication, verbal skills, and social interaction skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial client evaluations and create speech/communication profiles to identify strengths and barriers to participation.
  • Develop and update treatment goals as needed.
  • Provide weekly or as-needed sessions for clients, supporting family members as required.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish goals and plans of care based on assessment data.
  • Deliver adequate and necessary treatment to reach identified goals.
  • Monitor and document client progress, reassessing as necessary.
  • Provide education to clients and their families, collaborating with all team members.
  • Maintain accurate client records and necessary insurance documentation.
  • Schedule therapy sessions and manage cancellations.
  • Work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation and flexibility.
  • Perform other essential duties that support the clinic, such as cleaning.
  • Participate in individual and group supervision, meeting WA state standards and expectations.

You will be expected to be prepared for all job duties, dressed professionally and appropriately, and committed to professional and personal development. You must be open and flexible to changes that will inevitably be made as Beautiful Autism develops. You are also required to be open to feedback and willing to provide feedback.

You may be asked to perform specific duties related to the day-to-day business functioning of BA, such as cleaning.
