Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Permitting: Develop permit application documents, contract drawings, specifications, and estimates for landfills, transfer stations, landfill gas to energy facilities, and recycling facilities.
  • Site Investigations: Direct field investigations and perform slope stability analyses.
  • Civil/Environmental Engineering Duties: Conduct grading and hydrology tasks, including designing on-site roadways and ancillary buildings and structures.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5-10+ years of experience in the design, permitting, document preparation, and CQA of waste disposal facilities.
  • Ability to coordinate the regulatory agency review process.
  • B.S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (M.S. a plus).
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure or ability to sit for exam within two (2) years.
