Solar Equipment Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solar Equipment Technician to join our team at Commercial Solar Solutions. As a key member of our installation crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of solar equipment on our customers' properties.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for:

• Inspecting and testing solar equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer specifications
• Assisting with the installation of solar panels, racking systems, and other equipment
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on solar equipment
• Collaborating with colleagues to achieve project deadlines and goals

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• No prior experience or training; some related experience or training is preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide in all units of measure

• Walking over 2/3 of the time
• Reaching with hands and arms over 2/3 of the time

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year
