Job Summary:

Northrop Grumman is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement secure software development practices and tools to ensure the security and integrity of our systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop secure software development practices and tools
  • Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security and compliance
  • Develop and maintain secure software development guidelines and standards
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely delivery of secure software

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience with DevSecOps pipeline tools and concepts
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and security best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Security certification
  • Experience with Jenkins shared library and Groovy scripting language
  • Experience with Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes
  • SAFe certified and experience working in a SAFe framework

Salary Range: $82,400 - $123,600

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
