A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PET CARE SPECIALIST

As a Pet Care Specialist, your role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of care we promise to our clients. Your responsibilities will include cleaning, supervising group play, feeding pets, and administering medications as required. You may also assist with basic grooming tasks such as nail trimming, bathing, and de-shedding. Your ability to handle dogs with care and observe their behavior will be essential in ensuring their comfort and safety.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PET CARE SPECIALIST

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college education is preferred
  • Willingness to work on holidays and weekends
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and remain on your feet for at least 5 hours
  • Capability to learn and operate various tools, equipment, and technology independently
  • A genuine love for all dogs and an appreciation for their unique behaviors
