Key Responsibilities- Provide thorough dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
- Develop and maintain a positive and professional relationship with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques, technologies, and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
- Current dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
