Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex cardiovascular procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic right and left heart catheterizations, interventional catheterizations, and structural heart procedures.
  • Operate and maintain advanced medical equipment, including sterile procedure and equipment set up, rotablator, IABP, closure devices, balloon inflator, and stents.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on cardiovascular health and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in cardiovascular technology or a related field.
  • AART/NJ License or RCIS certification.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Work Schedule

Our ideal candidate will be available to work a 3x12 or 4x10 schedule, with no block schedules. On-call responsibilities will include every 2-3 weekends, with a 24-hour shift on Saturday and Sunday.
