Job Overview

Vaxxinova US is looking for a dedicated Production Technician to support our Blend/Fill operations.

Position Summary

The Production Technician in the Blend/Fill department, under the guidance of the Operations Manager, plays a crucial role in the formulation and filling of vaccines utilizing proprietary SRP technology. This role operates within a structured schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain production machinery in a sterile manufacturing setting.
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble production equipment and workspaces.
  • Prepare liquid buffers essential for the assembly process.
  • Blend key components necessary for the final batching process.
  • Fill final batches using specialized filling machinery.
  • Assist fellow technicians in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Accurately document all relevant information upon task completion and maintain Blend and Fill records.
  • Support other manufacturing departments as time allows.
  • Ensure a clean work environment to maintain sterility.
  • Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and positivity within the workplace.

Qualifications:

  • Basic mathematical skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is required.
  • Strong verbal, written, and record-keeping abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Skills in identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues.
  • Physical capability to work on equipment while standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • A high school diploma is required; a degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • One to two years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
