Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Activities Coordinator - Recreation and Leisure to join our team at Consulate Health Care. As an essential member of our community, you will play a key role in planning and implementing engaging recreational activities for residents.

About the Role

The Activities Coordinator - Recreation and Leisure will be responsible for creating a dynamic environment that fosters socialization, entertainment, and personal growth among our residents. Your primary duties will include:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive plan for resident activities and recreation
  • Scheduling movies, planning parties, and providing games/activities for residents
  • Encouraging residents to participate in recreational social activities, ensuring all residents are involved
  • Assisting the Community Life Director in expanding services
  • Providing innovative, responsible healthcare through the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Some experience in providing recreation services to residents in a health care setting (preferred)
  • A current, valid state driver's license
  • Qualifications, compassion, and dedication to delivering exceptional results
