Workover Rig Supervisor

The Workover Rig Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing and directing operations on the assigned rig. Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically plan and coordinate service execution, ensuring all equipment, materials, and client requirements are thoroughly reviewed for upcoming projects.
  • Oversee daily field activities of the workover crew to fulfill client expectations.
  • Evaluate crew performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance efficiency.
  • Engage in the recruitment, assessment, and disciplinary processes for workover crew personnel.
  • Foster and maintain strong customer relationships on-site.
  • Direct and manage the workover crew's responsibilities on the rig.
  • Participate in safety meetings and ensure adherence to all safety policies and regulations.
  • Promptly report any incidents or safety concerns.
  • Adapt to various weather conditions while performing duties.
  • Execute additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with 5-10 years of relevant workover experience. Previous experience in the oilfield sector is highly desirable.

Work Environment

This role is primarily conducted outdoors, in varying weather conditions.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time role that may require extended hours and weekend work as necessary.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Valid Driver's License is mandatory.
  • Class A or B CDL is preferred.
