Emergency Room Travel Nurse Position

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to join our team in the Emergency Department. This role involves working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM at our facility.
Job Responsibilities- Travel Nursing Role: Focused on providing high-quality care in the Emergency Department.
- Staffing: Collaborate with a team that includes 1 CNC, 6 nurses, 1 EMT, and 1 Medic during night shifts.
- Patient Care: Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1.
- Certifications Required: TNCC, PALS, BLS, ACLS.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in ER nursing is essential.
- Preferred: Experience in Trauma Level 1 or 2 settings.
- Emergency Department: 787 with a capacity of 40 beds.
- Staff Composition: Approximately 65 staff members, including RNs, EMTs, and Paramedics.
- Equipment: Familiarity with typical ER equipment such as IV pumps, EKG machines, and transport monitors.
- EMR System: Meditech- EDM.
The best fit for this position is an experienced ER nurse who is a team player, self-motivated, and ambitious. We value individuals who are adaptable to new technologies and equipment.
Additional InformationThis facility is recognized as a Trauma Level 3 hospital, a chest pain center, a primary stroke center, and the only sepsis certified center in Colorado. We also have a dedicated Pediatric ER staffed with Pediatricians throughout the day.
