Job Summary

The City of O'Fallon is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring our buildings and grounds are well-maintained and meet the highest standards of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including restocking supplies
  • Clean offices, including floors, blinds, and furniture
  • Empty trash and recyclable materials
  • Perform minor maintenance repairs
  • Report maintenance needs to appropriate personnel
  • Unload and inventory cleaning supplies
  • Laundry towels and mop heads
  • Strip and wax floors
  • Remove snow from sidewalks
  • Assist with setting up for meetings
  • Perform related duties
Requirements
  • Ability to perform tasks while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping, bending or crouching
  • Possession of or the ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Missouri
