Appliance Technician

At Central Plg. & Elect. Supply, we are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands and providing excellent customer service.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

As an Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for the delivery and installation of kitchen appliances in residential settings. This will include dishwashers, refrigerators, over-the-range microwaves, ranges, wall ovens, washers, dryers, etc.

You will need to safely and properly operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all components of equipment, formally document the work done on the equipment, and complete work assignments within allotted time.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience with appliance installation
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
