Job Description:
The Night Audit Agent is responsible for providing friendly and efficient registration and guest settlement services. This role involves accurately balancing and auditing the hotel’s income and expenses for the current 24-hour period. Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming guests, ensuring proper credit is received, and fulfilling special requests.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly demeanor.
  • Completing all guest transactions thoroughly.
  • Promoting and selling special hotel programs.
  • Collaborating with fellow team members and assisting other departments as needed.
  • Maintaining knowledge of emergency procedures and hotel policies.
  • Managing the house bank and handling cash transactions.
  • Communicating pertinent information to Front Office Managers and Supervisors.
  • Following established procedures for posting charges, cashing checks, and processing refunds.
  • Balancing and auditing hotel revenue accuracy, cashier reports, and guest accounts.
  • Assisting in the preparation of daily revenue reports.
  • Performing any additional tasks assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred two years of college education.
  • Two years of experience in a service industry, preferably in hospitality.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, outgoing personality.
  • Ability to resolve and de-escalate issues independently.
  • Proficiency in computer usage.
  • Experience in cash handling is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position ranges from $14.00 to $15.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. Employees enjoy extensive health benefits, paid time off, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and discounts at numerous properties across the U.S. and internationally.

Schedule:
As the hospitality industry operates 24/7, candidates must be available to work during peak times, including special events and high occupancy periods. The position is part-time, with hours ranging from 8 to 29 per week, and shifts typically begin at 11 PM.
