About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Forklift Operator Warehouse Specialist to join our team at Pactiv Evergreen. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials within our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to move WIP loads into and out of production areas, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials.
  • Supply empty pallets to the Press and Padlocker departments, maintaining a well-organized storage area.
  • Remove waste and recyclables from the press area, adhering to our company's sustainability initiatives.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and complete weekly checklists to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for receipt of raw materials and enter information into our SAP system.
  • Supply and stage corrugate for the Finishing Department and rolls for the press, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • Assist in Shipping as required, loading scrap bale trucks and receiving and storing sundry items.
  • Perform duties of Padlocker/Baler as needed, contributing to the success of our operation.
Requirements
  • Ability to perform simple calculations and apply good mathematical reasoning.
  • Knowledge of applicable machines to operate, troubleshoot, and conduct minor repairs, with competency in forklift operations preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a positive work attitude and willingness to cooperate.
