About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate MH-IDD Technician to join our team at RHA Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide community-based intervention and prevention services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support for individuals with disabilities and challenging behavior in a community and/or residential setting.
  • Implement services and supports to address the individual's goals and desired outcomes as identified through the START Team.
  • Seek to understand the individual's personal history, social and family networks, and hopes and dreams for the future.
  • Provide a therapeutic environment for individuals at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide integrated care and treatment.
  • Support individuals with behavioral challenges and implement effective crisis management protocols.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED and one year of experience working with individuals with mental health and intellectual disabilities, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance coverage for liability.
  • Ability to maintain proficiency in company-sponsored training and certifications.
