Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. As a leader in the medical surgical unit, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on patient care and outcomes.

About Our Hospital:

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is a 400-bed acute care hospital located in Brandon, FL, just south of Tampa. We offer a range of services, including a heart & vascular center, behavioral health center, and women's center with a 36-bed neonatal intensive care unit. Our hospital has been recognized as a top 100 hospital in America and has a reflux center and bariatric center.

Your Role:

You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in a medical surgical environment as a leader. Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient care; instructing patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions; maintaining and reviewing patients' records; administering medications in accordance with physician orders; and providing leadership to your nursing team during designated shifts.

Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting preferred

Estimated Salary Range:$84,000 - $114,000 per year, based on location and experience.
