PET/CT Technologist Job Summary

Radiology Services, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging solutions, is seeking a highly skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our team. As a PET/CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Provide high-quality PET/CT imaging services to patients, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Imaging Procedures: Operate PET/CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Patient Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Quality Control: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly quality control procedures on PET/CT equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Department Support: Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual, monitoring medical supply inventory, and performing departmental surveys to ensure compliance with radiation standards.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine, current and in good standing.
  • Education: Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
  • Licensure: Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
  • Certifications: Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Experience: Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform PET/CT procedures independently.
