About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Innovance, a leading manufacturer of industrial products. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for using cutting torches, grinders, and other metalworking equipment to complete welding projects and help bring our customers' products to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and gas welding machines.
  • Set up and weld using fixtures and prints, with the ability to understand weld symbols and required to weld a minimum of two types of material.
  • Fabricate components from blueprints and verbal instructions, with a focus on producing high-quality, precision parts.
  • Perform assignments in accordance with written quality procedures, ensuring compliance to safety rules and procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers on problems regarding production tools, and communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth production processes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in welding or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in welding, with a focus on fabrication and metalworking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, designers, and other production team members.
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with frequent walking, stooping, and kneeling.
