Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical First Assistant to join our team at Northwest Medical Center. As a Surgical First Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our surgeons during complex cardiac procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons during cardiac surgeries, providing expert support and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures.
  • Provide scrub and circulating nurse services as needed.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical First Assistant program.
  • Two years of experience as a Surgical Tech, First Assistant, or RN in an operating room setting.
  • Current certification as a CSFA, CSA, or RNFA.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
