The Certified Nursing Assistant/ Nursing Care Provider is a vital member of the Mille Lacs Health System team, responsible for delivering exceptional care to our residents. As a key contributor to our healthcare team, you will work closely with professional nurses to provide personalized care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist professional nurses in the delivery of resident care, ensuring the highest level of quality and compassion.
- Provide personal care for assigned residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Participate in care planning, assessment, and record-keeping systems to ensure accurate and comprehensive resident care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify and address resident needs, promoting a culture of excellence and respect.
- Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring resident-centered care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Registration with the MN Board of Nursing as a Nursing Assistant.
- Must demonstrate a complete criminal background check as required by the State of MN and drug screening per MLHS policy.
- Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to the resident population, including geriatric, young adult, and middle-aged residents.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of growth, development, and aging principles, including death and dying.
- Must be able to assess and interpret data related to resident status to identify age-specific needs.
