Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to join our team as a Nurse Aide and Medication Assistant at Lutheran Community Home.

Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing and dressing
  • Preparing and administering medications, as directed by the nursing team
  • Serving meals and assisting with feeding, as needed
  • Keeping accurate records of residents' activities and care plans
  • Responding to residents' requests and concerns in a prompt and courteous manner
Essential Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Active certifications as a Nurse's Aide and Qualified Medication Aide
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to lift and transfer residents, as necessary

Shift Schedule:

Please note that our schedule includes first shift (7a-3p), second shift (3p-11p), and third shift (11p-7a) rotations, with every other weekend commitment.
