Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and documentation. You will work closely with our licensed nursing staff to ensure the safe and accurate administration of medications to our residents.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with medication administration, including preparing and dispensing medications.
  • Monitor vital signs of residents and record data as needed.
  • Document any instances where prescribed medications are not administered, including reason(s) for refusal.
  • Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in the state of North Carolina. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
