Nursing Faculty Opportunities

We are seeking highly qualified and experienced nursing professionals to join our team as Adjunct Nursing Faculty at Arizona College of Nursing. As a member of our faculty, you will play a critical role in shaping the next generation of nursing professionals and contributing to the growth and success of our institution.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Curriculum Development: Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing education programs, including didactic and clinical courses, to ensure students achieve course objectives and demonstrate Arizona College of Nursing's values of Passion, Adaptability, Accountability, Integrity, and Excellence.
- Student Support and Advisement: Provide academic advisement and counseling to students, connecting them to college resources for their success, and consistently demonstrating and coaching students on soft skills, including leadership and ethics, communication and critical thinking, teamwork and collaboration, and responsibility and dependability.
- Simulation Learning and Clinical Experience: Lead simulation learning experiences in the Nursing Lab and facilitate the application of theory to clinical practice, ensuring students develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the nursing profession.
- Program Evaluation and Revision: Participate in systematic plans for curriculum design, program evaluation, and program revision, ensuring the nursing education program remains current, relevant, and effective in preparing students for careers in nursing.
- Education: Graduate degree required (Master's or higher); if the graduate degree is not in nursing, a Bachelor's degree in nursing and a graduate degree in a related discipline from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
- Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a professional registered nurse providing direct patient care, with previous experience teaching in a registered nursing program at a college or university preferred.
- Licensure: Holds a current unencumbered state professional registered nurse license or enhanced compact nurse licensure relevant to the state of teaching location.
- Certification: Certified Nurse Educator certification and national certification in the area of nursing specialty is preferred.
