About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists in gaining patient commitment for optimal treatment with urgency
  • Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing patients on optimal treatment while addressing individual needs and concerns
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment for patients
  • Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists to provide efficient and quality dental care
  • Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by dentists
  • Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories according to American Dental Association guidelines
  • Ensure strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations
Requirements
  • Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
  • Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state
  • Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
