Overview

Novant Health Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Urology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to provide exceptional inpatient care for urology patients in the acute setting in Winston-Salem, NC.

Responsibilities
  • Rounding on in-patients and seeing ED consults
  • Performing minor bedside urologic procedures
  • Supporting the surgeon in the operating room as first assist
  • Coordinating care and monitoring patient progress through the course of their hospital stay and care transitions
  • Participating in daily interdisciplinary rounds, patient education, and discharge planning
  • Ordering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescribing pharmacologic agents, treatments, and therapies
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field
  • Current PA or NP license in the appropriate state
  • NCCPA or registry with state nursing board, ACLS, DEA registry
  • RNFA certification required for FNP's or ability to obtain by 12/31/2024
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
