Job Overview

The Custodial Operations Supervisor is responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of designated areas, ensuring that client and customer expectations are met. This role may involve overseeing and delegating tasks within the cleaning services team, with responsibilities that may differ based on the specific needs of the location.

Key Responsibilities

+ Organizes and assigns daily tasks to the custodial staff, leading the team to ensure efficient task completion.

+ Follows established protocols to maintain a safe working environment, complying with OSHA and other relevant regulations.

+ Ensures a tidy and safe environment to promote the health and well-being of all individuals.

+ Properly cleans and maintains cleaning equipment to ensure optimal performance.

+ Cleans assigned spaces according to Aramark and client standards.

+ Adheres to procedures for waste management, ensuring proper disposal and transport of trash.

+ Reports any maintenance issues through the appropriate channels.

+ Manages facility security, ensuring that buildings are secured as necessary.

+ Safeguards company property and assets.

Qualifications

+ Previous experience in custodial services is required.

+ Supervisory experience or a related role is preferred.

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

+ Knowledge of basic safety protocols due to potential physical hazards and exposure to cleaning chemicals.

+ Maintains a friendly and efficient demeanor towards guests, clients, and colleagues.

+ Flexible and responsive to guest needs.

This position may involve physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
