Electrical Engineer

Bear River Electric is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our electrical design and construction team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in Northern Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks with precision and efficiency.
• Assist in training apprentices by sharing expertise and providing guidance.
• Collaborate effectively within a team, fostering a supportive learning environment for less experienced team members.
• Work seamlessly as part of a larger team, contributing to the overall success of projects.
• Diagnose malfunctions in electrical systems and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
• Execute precise and efficient electrical installations, encompassing a wide range of systems, fixtures, and equipment.

Requirements:

• State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician License.
• 6-10 years of professional electrical experience.
• Proficient in interpreting electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
• Extensive hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Thorough understanding of electrical codes and regulations, with a commitment to ensuring compliance.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to enforce and promote a safe working environment.
