Company Overview
Integer Technologies LLC is a pioneering organization focused on applied research and product innovation, driven by a team of dedicated scientists and engineers. Our mission is to advance technology and enhance national security through cutting-edge research and development initiatives for the Department of Defense (DoD) and various U.S. Government entities. We specialize in transforming innovative research into practical solutions with significant military and commercial implications, particularly in the realms of power and energy systems, unmanned systems, digital engineering, and advanced manufacturing.
Position Summary
The role of the Electrical Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Engineer demands a robust foundation in real-time simulation of electrical power systems, power converters, electric machines, and control systems. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the multi-faceted physics governing power system components and will be adept at maintaining virtual models of physical systems for applications such as health monitoring, diagnostics, prognostics, and advanced control strategies.
Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in controller hardware-in-the-loop (CHIL), where the controller of a physical power system executes control application code in conjunction with a real-time power system model. Additionally, proficiency in power hardware-in-the-loop (PHIL) testing is essential, involving the evaluation of real power hardware at full-scale power and voltage levels through integration with simulation tools.
