Veterinary Surgeon

Lloyd & Cowan Veterinary Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join our client's team in Grand Junction, Colorado. As a key member of the emergency department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with a talented team of veterinarians and support staff, and contributing to the development of the clinic's emergency medicine services.

• Provide emergency and critical care to patients, including triage, diagnosis, and treatment
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the veterinary team
• Conduct surgical procedures, including emergency surgeries and routine operations
• Participate in the development and implementation of emergency medicine protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and communication
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in emergency medicine and veterinary care through ongoing education and training

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
• State Veterinary Board License in good standing and active DEA license or eligibility
• Experience in emergency medicine and critical care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure

• Competitive salary starting at $150,000-$180,000 per year, negotiable based on credentials and experience
