We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with hotel systems, including air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.
- Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, and light bulb and A/C filter replacement.
- Use the Lockout/Tagout system to ensure safe maintenance practices.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and guests.
- High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background.
- At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
- Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting.
- Knowledge of hotel engineering computer programs and systems.
