Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely nursing care to patients, ensuring provider orders are followed and care is delivered efficiently.
  • Coordinate referrals, education, and care until client medical needs are met.
  • Prepare patients for appointments by taking vitals, reconciling medications, and performing applicable tests.
  • Administer vaccines, draw labs, and complete in-office testing as ordered by the provider.
  • Provide patient education related to diagnoses or health conditions, including obesity, diabetes, smoking cessation, and wellness compliance.

Requirements:

  • Indiana nursing license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Minimum of one year experience in a medical office setting, with strong phlebotomy skills and knowledge of childhood immunization schedules.
  • Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements.
  • Must meet and maintain background screening requirements and have no felony convictions or other criminal offenses involving a dependent population.
