Responsibilities

As a Special Education Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and social-emotional development of students with special needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting classroom teachers in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and providing support to students inside and outside the classroom.
  • Providing instructional support to students, including assisting with data collection, preparing work for students, and providing modifications and accommodations as needed.
  • Serving as a member of the educational team, working cooperatively with teachers, staff, and other professionals to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintaining student confidentiality and adhering to all applicable laws and regulations related to student privacy.
Qualifications and Requirements
