ResponsibilitiesAs a Special Education Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and social-emotional development of students with special needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting classroom teachers in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and providing support to students inside and outside the classroom.
- Providing instructional support to students, including assisting with data collection, preparing work for students, and providing modifications and accommodations as needed.
- Serving as a member of the educational team, working cooperatively with teachers, staff, and other professionals to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintaining student confidentiality and adhering to all applicable laws and regulations related to student privacy.
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Highly qualified paraprofessional standards.
- Satisfactory background check.
- Pass drug screening.
- 18 years of age or older.
