Join OU Health's Surgical Team
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Transplant/SICU team. As a Nurse Resident, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.
- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.
- Assist physicians in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment.
- Administer medication as prescribed and initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
- Possession of a valid temporary license or permanent license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nurse Registration and Nursing Education as a Registered Nurse.
- Less than one (1) year of experience is preferred for this position.
