Licensed Vocational Nurse, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will provide basic and technical nursing care to patients in accordance with health care policies and procedures, program requirements, and Title 22 regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic and technical nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Collaborate with the Registered Nurses and the SNF care team to ensure the delivery of appropriate and timely health care to patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, members of the SNF care team, and other members of the health care team.
- Address the ongoing needs of patients, work with physicians and other health care providers, and promote the efficient, appropriate, and cost-effective use of health care resources.
- Possession of a valid, active license from the State of California to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Registered Nurses and the SNF care team.
