We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our team at WellStar Health System, Inc. in Hiram, Georgia. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functioning.
  • Position patients for procedures, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for radiation safety and patient protection.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Current certification in Radiography (ARRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
