About the Role

KurzSolutions is seeking a skilled Emergency Nurse to join our team. As a critical care registered nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient history and assess patients to plan appropriate nursing care
  • Document the plan of care and interventions in the patient's medical record, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Verify physician's orders and execute and document prescribed orders
  • Reassess patient conditions and adjust care plans based on identified nursing problems
  • Participate in discharge planning and initiate life-saving measures in the absence of physicians
  • Assure accurate and validated documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing and at least one full year of professional nursing experience
  • Current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States
  • Minimum of 24 months experience in an Emergency Room environment during the last 36 months
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as approved by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Evidence of current immunizations
Working Conditions

The Emergency Nurse will work primarily in a hospital setting, with frequent interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. This position may require working irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Emergency Nurse may also be required to respond to emergencies and provide on-call support as needed.
