Job Description Summary

MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) is a healthcare entity within the Medical University of South Carolina, providing medical services to patients throughout the state of South Carolina.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support at the front desk, including scheduling appointments, managing the clinic appointment line, and answering multiline telephones.
  • Take payments from clients for clinical services, complete client registration, and documentation.
  • Schedule interpreters for clients, retrieve billing charges, and perform other administrative tasks.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalency, plus one year of patient care experience in a healthcare facility.
  • Or a Certified Nursing Assistant, or successful completion of a Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant course at an accredited institution.
  • Or EMT or Paramedic certification, or a Bachelor's degree.
