We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team at Carondelet Holy Cross Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication with the healthcare team.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, working closely with our social work and case management teams.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and patient education.
- Current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, as required by individual department.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferred.
