Position Overview:
This role is essential in ensuring that residents and their families enjoy a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly cleans resident living spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, disinfecting, and washing windows.
- Disposes of trash and other waste materials appropriately.
- May assist care staff in maintaining cleanliness in communal areas such as lobbies, restrooms, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and other shared spaces.
- Reports any necessary repairs to the Executive Director and maintenance personnel.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in housekeeping is required. Experience in an assisted living environment is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
