We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Family Practice Nurse Specialist to join our team at Decypher in Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

Job DescriptionAs an Advanced Family Practice Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care within ethical and legal boundaries. Your duties will include:
- Assessing patient needs telephonically and in-person, determining optimal time and location for patient management and follow-up care.
- Prescribing and communicating treatment plans and patient teaching, in accordance with established protocols.
- Collecting and assessing significant history information, performing all necessary patient teaching.
- Setting up, operating, and monitoring specialized medical equipment, performing procedures such as oxygen administration, EKGs, and phlebotomy support staff protocols.
- Ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored, performing preventive maintenance and routing cleaning as directed.
- Ensuring medication/supplies are replenished, participating in the orientation/training of newly assigned personnel.
- Ensuring a safe work environment, employee safe work habits, and patient safety in accordance with regulatory agencies, infection control policies, and process improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 24 months of full-time experience in an Adult Primary Care Outpatient clinic setting.
- An Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- A current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- US citizenship.
