Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team at Manpower Engineering. As an Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for performing routine environmental sampling, conducting required inspections, and maintaining necessary records. You will also prepare and submit monthly compliance reports, as well as prepare and maintain the annual environmental operating plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine environmental sampling and conduct required inspections
  • Maintain necessary records and prepare monthly compliance reports
  • Prepare and maintain the annual environmental operating plans
  • Ensure all environmental permits/certificates are renewed in a timely manner
  • Primary contact with regulatory agencies and accompany regulatory representatives during site inspections/visits
  • Stay educated on environmental regulatory changes and communicate these changes to company management
  • Provide training for the environmental program and coordinate the environmental management team
  • Participate in community activities related to the environment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related science
  • At least 5 years' experience in a regulatory, enforcement of industrial/environmental setting
  • Knowledge of Title V and RCRA regulations, CEM, Clean Air Act, and Clean Water Act
  • Production/manufacturing industry setting experience, preferably heavy industry
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment and be outside in the elements
