About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Porter at Compass Group Ireland. As a Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining a high standard of customer care and cleanliness in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of public areas, including the lobby and other common spaces.
- Support housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting staff in setting up rooms and moving furniture as needed.
- Handle reception duties, such as booking theatre tickets or making restaurant reservations, as required.
- Respond to customer requests and provide excellent customer service.
- Run errands and perform other tasks as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
- Ensure the safety of customers by placing and removing signage indicating wet floors or other hazards.
Our Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an adaptable and communicative individual who is able to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering high-quality customer care and be able to work under pressure. They will also be reliable and have excellent timekeeping skills.
