About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Seasonal Animal Keeper to join our Primate Department at the Cincinnati Zoo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of our primate collection, ensuring the highest standards of animal care and guest experience.

Key Tasks
  • Clean and maintain animal displays, holding areas, and public sections
  • Inspect enclosures for safety and report any issues to the Head Keeper
  • Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any abnormalities to supervisors
  • Maintain records of animal care and enrichment activities
  • Prepare diets and follow feeding procedures for the primate collection

Essential Requirements
  • Possess or be working towards a bachelor's degree in an animal-related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in animal husbandry with primates
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with staff and guests
