Job Title: Quality Control Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Supervisor to join our team at National Guard Employment Network. As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality of ingredients and finished products in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Quality Technicians to achieve quality assurance standards
  • Provide technical and process knowledge for water treatment/wastewater, product batching, product testing, package testing, and supplier capability
  • Oversee team execution of key food safety pre-requisite programs such as GMP compliance, sanitation, documentation, and recordkeeping
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of process improvements and technical developments
  • Build people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication
  • Develop the team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
  • Deliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist the team in solving operational issues
  • Motivate team members to achieve plan goals
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations, including food safety
  • Participate in regulatory audits/inspections (e.g., AIB, FDA, ISO F2200 Standard, GHEMS)
  • Administer policies and procedures
  • Regular and predictable attendance at the work site
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Previous experience within the quality control department of a high-speed manufacturing environment, preferably food/beverage or consumer packaged goods
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring skills
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills
What We Offer:
  • Expected compensation range: $60,000 - $100,500
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
