Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our team at Trustco Bank. As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately and efficiently completing customer transactions, and maintaining the highest level of security and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accept and process customer deposits, verifying cash and endorsements, and issuing receipts.
  • Cash checks and process credit card payments.
  • Offer and sell the Bank's products and services to customers.
  • Process loan payments and night deposit bags.
  • Admit customers to safe deposit boxes and provide balance information.
  • Balance transactions at the end of the day and verify cash totals.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for compliance and regulatory purposes.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education or experience.
  • Customer service experience, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Cash handling experience and proficiency in operating office machines.
  • Effective verbal communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a regular schedule, including weekends. The work environment is typical of a retail banking setting, with ambient room temperatures, lighting, and standard office equipment.
