Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Senior Suites Healthcare in Broken Arrow, OK. As a CNA, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding patient care, including bathing, dressing, and assisting with daily activities
  • Answer patient calls and determine the best course of action to assist them
  • Assist with physical support, including turning and repositioning bedridden patients
  • Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure patients receive an appropriate diet
  • Obtain information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested activities
  • Measure and record food and liquid intake, urinary and fecal output, and report changes to medical or nursing staff
  • Record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as requested by staff
  • Examine patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine
  • Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements
  • Note observations of patient behavior, including complaints or physical symptoms to nurses
Qualifications
  • State Certified Nursing Assistant certification
  • Ability to think and work independently and with direction
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Excellent personal hygiene
Physical Requirements

This job requires good physical and mental health. Physical activities may include lifting up to fifty pounds, rotating and assisting residents who are partially or totally dependent.
