Job Summary

The Business Systems Analyst will serve as the primary point of contact for end-users at our plant and shipping locations, ensuring the seamless operation of our ERPs, supportive applications, and SQL databases. This role requires a unique blend of business and technical expertise, with a focus on supporting various aspects of the business beyond manufacturing, including fulfillment and integrations with 3rd party systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, customize, and support our manufacturing systems environment, including Infor SyteLine, Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS), ShopTrack, SureShip, and the Scheduling Planning Database (SPD) system.
  • Analyze and solve complex manufacturing system problems, with a strong understanding of relational databases, specifically Microsoft SQL.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business and end-user requirements to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies.
  • Create custom reports and provide data analytics to inform business decisions.
  • Assist with the maintenance and support of data lakes, data warehouses, and similar data repositories.
  • Collaborate with the BI Analyst to ensure data integrity and source integration with BI apps such as Domo and Power BI.
  • Document system requirements, define scope and objectives, and create system specifications that drive system upgrades and disaster recovery.
  • Meet or exceed company performance metrics for driving improvement and making well-informed decisions for manufacturing activities, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
Requirements
  • Experience with Infor SyteLine ERP or another ERP system.
  • Ability to automate and improve processes via scripting.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SSRS, with a focus on maintaining a healthy database.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently troubleshoot advanced application and database issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
