**Job Summary**

SoftPathTechnologies is seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Architect to join our team. As a Snowflake Architect, you will be responsible for designing and architecting database solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud platform, AWS, Azure, and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect database solutions on Snowflake Data Cloud platform, AWS, Azure, and Databricks.
  • Manage and optimize the performance, security, and reliability of databases in the Snowflake Data Cloud platform.
  • Plan and manage disaster recovery strategies and data retention policies.
  • Deploy, right-size, and manage Snowflake virtual warehouses.
  • Implement and manage security measures like data encryption, access controls, and network policies.
  • Automate standard database processes using Unix Shell scripting/Python.
  • Develop new automation scripts in Python and write unit cases.
  • Enhance/troubleshoot existing Unix shell scripts.

Requirements:

  • Expert in programming and has automation mindset.
  • Expert with Snowflake, AWS, and Azure Cloud platforms.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Snowflake Architect/DBA.
  • Experience as an SAP IQ DBA.
  • Hands-on expertise with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, SnowPark, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures.
  • Snowflake SQL writing SQL queries against Snowflake developing scripts Java, Python, Scala, etc. to do Extract, Load, and Transform data.
  • In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept, and modeling structure principles.
  • Experience with database design and architecture patterns.
  • Experience in Data warehousing OLAP systems, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modeling.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing production-grade data warehousing solutions on large-scale data technologies such as Snowflake, DB2, and SAP IQ.
