Your Impact:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to support mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation's security and intelligence mission.

This is a high-visibility project at the FBI with a focus on data integrity and analysis. The Senior Full Stack Developer will work in an AWS cloud environment using cutting-edge technology to develop and maintain applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in leading or advanced programming and software development, including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and upgrading of software systems.

The position is located in Huntsville, AL, and will primarily be on-site, but the customer may grant up to 50% remote work based on mission need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain software applications in an AWS cloud environment
  • Work with a small agile development team to support challenging, mission-critical projects
  • Collaborate with government and contractor developers to assist in all facets of development and O&M for the application
  • Support data analysis and integrity efforts
  • Work in conjunction with other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or other related field
  • 8 years of experience with programming and software development in multiple layers in the software stack (UI, web or micro services, database, search)
  • Experience with leading or advanced programming and software development, including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and upgrading of software systems
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability
  • Experience with API - Spark, Scala, and Databricks
  • Services (enrichments) - Java, Spring, and Rest Services
  • Experience with Elastic Search
  • AWS Cloud development/Dev Ops support
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience developing in an agile environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Clearance Required:

  • Active Top Secret

Preferred:

  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience with Gitlab
  • Experience in developing an application utilizing microservices
